How to Save a Web Page as PDF in Google Chrome

Save a web page as a PDF in Chrome on desktop or mobile while controlling page layout, margins, and unnecessary content.

Overview

Saving a web page as PDF is useful for receipts, confirmation pages, articles, tickets, booking details, online forms, and information you may need later. Chrome includes a built-in Print option that can create a PDF without installing additional software.

Why this matters

A PDF copy can preserve information even if a page changes later or requires an internet connection to view.

Save a web page as PDF on a computer

Open the page in Chrome, then use the Print option. In the printer or destination menu, select Save to PDF. Before saving, review page range, orientation, margins, paper size, and scale.

Use Print Preview to check for missing sections, broken page breaks, blank pages, or content cut off at the edge.

Save a web page as PDF on Android or iPhone

On mobile, Chrome or the Share menu may provide a Print option. Choose Save as PDF when available, then select a folder in your device storage or Files app.

Some websites load content dynamically. Scroll through the page first so important sections have time to load before creating the PDF.

Protect private information

Check the preview carefully before saving pages from banking, email, account dashboards, or personal portals. A PDF may include account number, address, transaction details, or private messages.

Store sensitive PDFs securely and do not share them publicly.
